We fought the law and the law won
Effective immediately, our West 6th location will be closing. Despite our extensive efforts, we have been unable to secure the necessary permissions to keep the facility open due to city zoning issues. We hope this is not a final farewell and that we can return to West 6th in some capacity in the future. In the meantime, we invite you to visit our Braker Lane location which is now fully open.

Below is an FAQ with the answers to your questions:

Why is the Austin Pickle Ranch on West 6th closing? Ultimately due to city zoning issues. After being contacted by the city about the permitted use of the property, our team engaged in numerous discussions with city officials, dedicated countless hours to understanding and navigating zoning regulations, and explored all possible alternatives to keep the facility open. Despite our extensive efforts, we have been unable to secure the necessary permissions to keep the facility open.

Will there be any additional costs for members? No, your current membership fees will remain unchanged, and there are no additional costs associated with this transition.

What will happen to my bookings at the West 6th location? The good news is that our reservation system doesn’t charge for a booking until the reservation is complete. You will not be charged for your booking today, and no refunds will need to be made. We are very sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause you.

Is there another location where I can play pickleball? Yes. Our Braker Lane location remains open and fully operational, providing the same excellent services and facilities.

Will there be updates on future plans for a new location? Yes, we are actively exploring new locations and will keep members informed of any new developments and future plans.
