Unlike traditional scoring, where a team can only score points when they are on the serving side, in rally scoring, a point is earned after every rally, whether it was won by the serving or receiving team. However, the first team to reach twenty points reverts to the traditional format and needs to win by two. Rally scoring in pickleball benefits fans by providing faster-paced games, increased intensity, easier-to-follow scoring, and enhanced suspense, making the sport more enjoyable and engaging for spectators.

This is a one-day tournament, so our schedule will allow for teams to sign up for both gendered and mixed divisions if desired. Family divisions may overlap with the gendered and mixed divisions. The formal schedule will be released the week of the tournament.

If 2 teams were to end the round robin portion with the same amount of wins, the first tiebreaker will be head to head record. If needed, the second tiebreaker will be point differential.

We recommend that any player unsure of their rating play no greater than ½ lower than their USTA league level. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each round robin bracket.

• Women’s: Morning
• Men’s: Late morning-mid afternoon
• Mixed: Mid-late afternoon
• Parent-Child: Morning-mid afternoon
• Spouse-Spouse: Late afternoon-early evening

Our gendered and mixed divisions play will be added into DUPR. Our family divisions are focused on fun, so they will not be added to DUPR.
